Reviewing the Toyota Hilux 2021

The Toyota Hilux generation has been around for six years now. The new and improved Toyota Hilux 2021 model is yet to be officially released. However, thanks to several information leaks and some spy shots, we already have an idea of what to expect from the new release. To further confirm some of the information we have, an official teaser has been released by the company. We got a view of Fernando Alonso behind the car’s wheels.

Viewing the 2021 Hilux teaser released by the company, we have been able to pinpoint some changes that have taken place with the interior and exterior components and design. We will be outlining some of those changes.

One of the most crucial changes of the 2021 Toyota Hilux from its predecessors is the upgraded 2.8-litre engine. The Hilux currently on the market has a diesel engine that makes up to 174 horses and 332-pound feet of torque on an automatic transmission. The 2021 Hilux can sprint up to 62 miles-per-hour from a standstill position in 10 seconds. With a 6-speed manual gearbox, the engine measures up to 201 horses and 310 pound-feet of torque. The Hilux’s engine is available with the Double Cab and Extra Cab styles of the body. There is no difference between the litre miles of the 2021 Hilux and its predecessor. It still makes up to a 2.4-litre mile. However, it still makes up to 150 ponies and about 295-pound feet of torque.

The four wheels get power through a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The idle speed of the Hilux was reduced from 850 rpm to 680 rpm. This ensures that there are more fuel efficiency and much more refinement. According to the company, the 2021 Hilux’s suspension system, the leaf spring setup, and the shocks can travel longer and improve driving dynamics.

On the inside, not much has changed from the predecessors. The car offers the same amount of space that its predecessor offers. In the instrument cluster, the company has equipped the car with a new combi meter design. That way, the car can support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

However, the wheels, which measure about 18 inches, look amazing. On the interior, we notice that the bumper has gone through some redesigning. The housing for the fog lamp looks much more prominent. The clusters of the LED headlight have also been redesigned to give off a new, fresh look.

Let’s talk about the exterior of the 2021 Hilux. There are no structural changes between the 2021 Hilux and its predecessor. The air dam and the grille have been integrated through some sort of cladding. The grille has been called three-dimensional by the company. The grille looks exquisite and befitting to the car.

It is our opinion that the car looks much more prominent. This is due to a lot of graphics and new elements that have been added to the design. The black cladding has been offset with a grey attachment which makes it look less monotonous. The new 2021 Toyota Hilux is expected in Australian showrooms from August 2020.

Reviewing the Toyota Land Cruiser 2021

Normally, Toyota Land Cruisers are known to be good vehicles for adventures. However, the Toyota Cruiser 2021 appears to be more luxurious than adventure bound. So far, there have been speculations that the car would be released on 1 August 2021, as a celebration of 70 years of the Toyota company.

Despite its luxurious appearance, the 2021 Land Cruiser continues the trend of highly capable and sturdy vehicles in the Land Cruiser line. The 2021 Land Cruiser comes with a full load of appealing tech widgets and features. The tech features of the Land Cruiser include a standard Bluetooth connectivity which allows you to have hands-free conversations on the phone when you are behind the wheel, a wireless device for charging your gadgets, an integrated navigation system, a 9.0-inch touch-enabled screen, a standard satellite radio, a sound system with 14-speaker JBL, an entertainment system for the rear seats that come with two 11.6-inch display screens and a pair of wireless headphones. Due to the Land Cruiser’s mammoth size, the fuel economy of the car is more than most. According to the EPA data, the Land Cruiser has a gas mileage of 17 mpg on the highways and 13 mpg within the city. The top-of-the-line 2021 Land Cruiser model is available in Magnetic Gray and Classic silver metallic paint colours.
